VIENNA: BAN ON DRIVING CHILDREN TO SCHOOL IN ACTION. RESULTS

In the capital of Austria, the pilot project “Schulstraße”(School Street) has come to an end. The temporary ban on driving cars near schools fulfilled its task. Parents and local authorities have called for its continuation, and other institutions inform of their willingness to “shut off” new school streets.
